i live in a loft-style apartment with a large bare concrete wall. this hammer drill does the job drilling small holes in concrete for shelves and other various needs.

The hammer drill arrived promptly and looks like a completely new one. I have used it on a couple of jobs stetting tapcons and it did a great job. The weight seems like a good compromise. It is heavy enough to do a good job yet it is not so heavy that it would be hard to handle. I love it.

medium duty hammer drill

I had tried using a 22 caliber nailer and my concrete was not being cooperative. I purchased this remanufactured Dewalt and have been VERY pleased.
For putting Tap-Cons in concrete it is absolutely perfect. If I were boring 3/4" or 1" holes in concrete all day, I'm sure I'd be better off with a heavier duty drill, but for small to medium hammer-drill duties, this is a wonderful tool, and I own it for what it would have cost me to rent one for 2 or 3 days. This works much better b/c often I only need one or two holes at a time. No regrets with this purchase.
