Incredible Drill - My favorite tool

I LOVE this drill. I have used it to drill through wood, metal, and concrete (hammer). I read in another Amazon review of this drill that his batteries took an hour to charge. NOT MINE! My batteries have charged in well under 30 minutes, probably closer to 15. It is sturdy, ergonomic, and I love the LED light. I dropped it out of a tree and all that broke was my $2 drill bit. This is the first Milwaukee product I've purchased but it won't be the last! Get one of these.

Awesome Drill Around the Home!

Lots of power, long battery life, and LED is worth it's weight in gold for tight jobs!
This 18V drill is perfect for use around the home. It has LOTS of power- I have inadvertently snapped wood screws using too high a torque setting and it wasn't even working hard! Coming from a cheap Black and Decker, this high-quality drill is a huge step up. It tackles any job I throw at it with ease, and drills solid oak like hot butter. The numerous torque settings as well as the high/low speed gearing make this drill/driver a snap to switch back and forth between drilling pilot holes and driving in fasteners. The chuck is easy and quick to adjust, and gives very positive feedback as you tighten it on a bit.
I charged both batteries up the day I got it, taking about 30 minutes per battery (batteries were half-charged out of the box, so expect a full charge to take about an hour.) Since then, I have used the drill for numerous jobs drilling through drywall, wood, and driving screws of various lengths and sizes. 2 months later, the drill is STILL only halfway through its first battery! The addition of the second battery means you can essentially use this drill non-stop while you charge the other battery.
I highly recommend this drill for any homeowner looking for something that will be strong enough for almost any job.

Great Compact Drill!

Purchased this drill awhile back due to the fact I needed a compact light drill for working around the house I just recently purchased. I was amazed by the power this thing has on a rechargeble battery.
I drilled through drywall, wood, and even some stone outside in the backyard to mount a few things and it never overheated or failed on me. Performed fantastically.
The most shocking aspect was the fact that it kept its power even until the very end! I was in the midst of drilling into studs to mount my LCD flat panel display and was working fine then suddenly stop! No slowdown, no loss of power gradually.
One con I would say is the time it took to charge the batteries. For a quick charge station and battery I was hoping for something that was shorter than 30 minutes, but it took over an hour to charge my dead battery :(.
All in all great product from Milwaukee, would recommend this if your a home do it yourselfer (can't really say anything if it's intended for commercial use.
