This is a great tool for drilling and screwing. It worked like a champ when screwing together 2 x 8's for a deck project. It has plenty of torque and the battery lasts a long time even with strenuous work. It's a snap to change from a deck screw bit to a drill bit, making it easy to pre-drill before screwing. The li-ion battery charger works very fast so you always have a freshly charged battery to switch to during long jobs. The body of the tool fits your hand very well so that your hand doesn't get fatigued. We have a lot of 3 1/2" deck screws in our structure. The body also has a shorter form so you can get into tight spaces easier. I totally recommend this tool. Nice job Ryobi!

Not all that great, but I'm spoiled by the Makita black and white models. This has no work light, that is missed right away installing cabinets and is a bit lacking when it comes to driving three inch screws into old lumber. I'll use it as a drill rather than a driver.

Great drill/driver tool. Good Lithium-Ion battery useable with many 18V Ryobi tools. Drill/Driver bit change is quick and easy. I noticed the torque setting has to be set fairly high for the clutch to properly grab the drill but that's simple to change.
Last time I checked, you can get the set or stand alone batteries cheaper at Home Depot.
