I purchase Bosch tools to use in my remodeling business, overall the quality meets and/or exceeds my expectations!
This combo pack, and the price, was a too good to be true purchase. The impact driver works GREAT! and exceeds my expectations. The idea of a small same quality drill as a companion was the too good to be true part of my purchase.
The speed chuck adds a little length to the tools compact size, but it is not larger than my old Bosch 9.6 volt impact driver.
so the size I'm use to....the only thing I was expecting with the chuck was the click-click-click sound when twisting the chuck
tight. That clicking sound always made me feel that the bit was ready to go! The few times I've used it now the bit loosen up
as I was drilling with it. I was thinking about changing the chuck if a different chuck is compatable with this model, that I just don't know at this point.
I love Bosch products and the quality, my old bosh 9.6 volt impact driver has been in service now for 3+ years now and I use
it every day still... it is my first choice tool and is always in my hand or pocket. Yesterday I was 32 feet up and dropped my old friend, it hit the roof of my truck and dented it pretty good as it then hit the concrete*%@#* I thought it was it's last day!
To my sirprize when I picked up with the bit bent 90-degrees the impact driver also takes an impact as well!
I put a new bit in it and went back up and used it the rest of the day!!!! So yes, I will continue to purchase Bosch products!

Just what I needed for those smaller jobs. No sense in dragging out some heavy monster 18v drill for those smaller jobs. I've always found Bosch quality worth the bit of extra cost.

The impact driver has become my favorite tool. It has excellent torque and balance, in addition to the ring of LED's around the shaft that provide excellent lighting. The drill is also very nice, well made and balanced.
