Absolutely love this drill. Hard to go wrong with Bosch, but this one is especially a hit. Love the LBoxx series and love the drill even more. Use it for mounting in Demarcs, drilling holes for cabling/conduit and general destruction... Bosch hit it good with this one.
The only downfall is it doesn't ship with the auxiliary handle (2602025158), but for <$20 on Bosch's spare parts website - done!

Don't know about the competition but a nice Bosch.

I replaced the hammer drill I purchased on Ebay which would die on me as soon as tiny load got in the way or it drilled for a minute, a Bosch but just blue. This one is holding so far and is powerfull but I need to get the impactor for driving screws, drills won't last the abuse. I cannot be certain if these are made for the professional who needs them everyday, just a smidge too cheap for pro grade but I paid $100 for a barebone and it is more than enough for home user. I think compact does have its limitation.
